"She has two things that make her incredibly blunt. 1. She does not have a huge vocabulary to express herself in English so language is very basic and direct. 2. She is actually pretty blunt," he said as he described his mother who spent much of her life in China/ Tawain before venturing to America. He went on to explain that his mother loved reading blogs of people she did not know but when they got too self righteous or conceited, she was not shy to leave them a little message in their comment section. "You too rich. You don't need another purse. You should donate more money to the poor." I'm considering hiring her to keep me in line too.
Ben and I are gearing up for a road trip through the south land this week. Thus far we have a rented Mini Cooper, Pomegranate fruit rollups, three empty camera memory cards, & some bluegrass music. Life. is. good.
