A love for Stars Hollow

It is a small joy of mine when I find a shared love of the Gilmore Girls with an 84 year old retired gentleman. His wife- who I admire for dancing a fine line between being a rah-rah cheerleader and exercise drill sergeant in her husband's battle with a progressive disease- rolled her eyes. "I cannot possibly fathom how you stand those two fast talking girls and all their chitter chatter! That show drives me crazy!" The gentleman and I exchange knowing glances- we are both in love with Stars Hollow (and maybe think the girls are pretty).
